Fust Survival Crafting Recipes: Stone Pickaxe and Tool Cupboard Costs
Fust Survival's CRAFTING menu lists the Stone Pickaxe at Wood 200 and Stones 100 and the Tool Cupboard at Wood 1000. See those panel values, plus Workbench 1 and Gun Powder costs and how to read the CRAFT button.
Quick answer
The Stone Pickaxe in TOOLS takes Wood 200 and Stones 100, and the basic Tool Cupboard in DEPLOYABLES takes Wood 1000, as shown in Fust Survival's CRAFTING menu.
- The Stone Pickaxe panel also shows Damage 15, Time 2s, can make 5 and the CRAFT button.
- Carrying only 200 Wood left the Tool Cupboard's CRAFT button reading NOT ENOUGH RESOURCES.
- Workbench 1 is listed at Metal Fragments 50 and Wood 500, and Gun Powder at Sulphur 10 plus Charcoal 10 for a Gun Powder x10 output.
- The menu figures were recorded on the modded Fust Survival EU#1 server under a DOUBLE RATES event banner, so recheck them on your own server and version.
Both costs live in the same recipe panel: open CRAFTING, pick a category, select the recipe, and the panel fills with the ingredient amounts and the recipe's other fields. The Stone Pickaxe is the stone tool detailed in the TOOLS category, and the Tool Cupboard is the basic deployable shown in DEPLOYABLES. The amounts are recipe values displayed in that panel, not gather yields, so they tell you what to bring rather than how much a swing or a resource node will give you.

The first two rows are what the crafting-menu view shows directly. Workbench 1 and Gun Powder come from the crafting view in a Fust Survival guide video, so treat them as the same kind of reference figure rather than a second measurement of the same menu. Each recipe's other panel fields — the Stone Pickaxe's Damage 15, Time 2s and can make 5, the Tool Cupboard's "Places a monopolize bubble" description, and Gun Powder's x10 output — are described in that recipe's section below.
Stone Pickaxe: Wood 200 and Stones 100
Selecting the Stone Pickaxe in TOOLS fills the recipe panel with Wood 200 and Stones 100 as the ingredient row. The same panel carries Damage 15, Time 2s, can make 5 and the CRAFT button, so the ingredients are only one part of what the selection tells you; the damage, craft-time and craft-count fields sit beside them. If the numbers look different in your own menu, the ingredient row is the line to compare, because that is the part that decides whether the craft is affordable.
The early-game STARTER GOALS ask you to craft a Building Plan and gather 250 Wood and 100 Stones. On the recorded server, finishing that gathering left enough Wood and Stones to cover the Stone Pickaxe's 200 Wood and 100 Stones. The same session went on to craft a Hammer, Building Plan, Stone Hatchet, Stone Pickaxe and Wooden Spear, the items an early run leans on. The Stone Pickaxe is the stone tool whose cost is shown here, while the Stone Hatchet and Wooden Spear are crafted in the same early stretch; the Fust Survival tools page covers the tools themselves.
Tool Cupboard: Wood 1000 and the CRAFT button
The Tool Cupboard sits in DEPLOYABLES. Selecting it shows a single ingredient, Wood 1000, and the description "Places a monopolize bubble." That Wood 1000 line is five times the Stone Pickaxe's Wood 200, and it has no stone component at all, so the Fust Survival resource gathering loop that fills the Tool Cupboard row is almost entirely a wood trip.
The panel also shows how the CRAFT button behaves when you are short. With 200 Wood carried, the button read NOT ENOUGH RESOURCES instead of offering the craft. The recipe stayed selected and visible; the button was the signal that the carried materials did not meet the ingredient row. That makes the button a quick check for any recipe: if it reads NOT ENOUGH RESOURCES, compare your inventory against the row before you set out for more materials. For a 1000 Wood recipe, carrying 200 tells you immediately that the shortfall is in the wood count.
Workbench 1 and Gun Powder
Two more crafting costs appear in the same guide-video crafting view. Workbench 1 requires Metal Fragments 50 and Wood 500. Gun Powder requires Sulphur 10 and Charcoal 10, and the recipe output is Gun Powder x10, so one craft returns a batch of ten from those ten-and-ten inputs.
The Workbench 1 row is the one that ties directly into smelting. Metal Fragments are what the furnace produces from metal ore: in the recorded session the furnace logged "+52 Metal Fragments" as smelted metal moved into the player's inventory. The furnace interface puts Wood, Metal Ore, Sulfur Ore, HQM Ore and Raw Meat in its FOR RESOURCES slots, with +50 and +ALL buttons, and keeps separate FUEL and OUTPUT slots. Its footer reads "Burns 1 wood/5.75s, 75% charcoal, no ore needed. Smelts 5 ores per slot." Those burn and smelt rates are server-specific, so use them to understand the sequence, where wood burns as fuel while ore smelts into fragments, rather than as standard-server numbers.
Read the Workbench 1 bill as a furnace trip before it is a crafting-menu trip: wood for the burn and metal ore for the 50 Metal Fragments. The Fust Survival furnace guide and smelting guide cover that station, and ore locations covers where the metal ore comes from.
Gun Powder's ingredients are Sulphur and Charcoal, each at 10. The output note matters when you compare it with tools: the recipe produces Gun Powder x10, so the cost is a batch price rather than a single-unit price. That is also why the row looks small next to the Wood 1000 deployable, even though it belongs to a later, more expensive part of the craft list.
Menu categories and the NO WORKBENCH label
The category bar reads ALL, TOOLS, WEAPONS, CLOTHING, DEPLOYABLES, BUILDING and ITEMS. During the early game the menu also shows a NO WORKBENCH label, and later an EXPLOSIVES category is visible. Those two observations come from different points in the same session and mark different states of the menu: the version shown while starting out and the version shown later, with the recipe list grown by an extra category. When you are looking for a recipe, use the category that matches the item, TOOLS for the Stone Pickaxe and DEPLOYABLES for the Tool Cupboard, and then read the panel for the exact ingredient row.
Where the recipe costs sit in the early loop
The official Fust Survival description sets out the order the costs imply: players wash up on the beach with a rock and a torch, gather wood, stone and ore, craft tools, smelt metal in the furnace and build a base worth raiding. The Stone Pickaxe is the tool step, built from wood and stone straight out of gathering. The Tool Cupboard belongs to the base-building side and asks for Wood 1000 in one line. Workbench 1 depends on the furnace, because its Metal Fragments 50 come from smelting metal ore first.
Seeing the rows together explains why the wood totals climb quickly: the pickaxe is a two-material tool recipe at Wood 200 and Stones 100, while the deployable pulls a much larger single-resource bill at Wood 1000 and the workbench adds Wood 500 on top of its metal cost. That is also why the starter gathering target of 250 Wood and 100 Stones is a tool-sized goal rather than a base-sized one. For the opening sequence, the Fust Survival beginner guide and crafting guide cover the surrounding steps.
Why these numbers can change
Fust Survival is in early access with "new features every update", progress saves until the weekly Friday wipe, and the Roblox place was updated several times on 11/02/26 and 11/03/26. Recipe costs can change between updates, so treat the figures here as a starting reference rather than a permanent price list. Recheck the recipe panel after an update, and remember that the menu view itself was recorded on a modded server with a DOUBLE RATES banner: ingredient amounts are recipe values shown in that crafted panel, but server rules and game versions can differ. The Fust Survival wipe schedule covers the reset rhythm that keeps those costs relevant each week.
